seminars
The Education Committee is thrilled about the newest project of 2021: the Philosophy Seminars!
Seminars are free voluntary courses run by students for students. A seminar offers a welcoming environment not just for reading and studying philosophy, but also for doing philosophy. The ingredients to this are first to go through an entire philosophical text and to pay close attention to both style and content, to respond to it critically, and to see where the reading experience takes us. And second, to meet other philosophers in person, listen to what they have to say, respond to them critically and see where the discussion can take us.
The seminars usually take place bi-weekly and are held by eager volunteers.
